We listed as many holiday words as we could think of. We sat in a circle and went aroubd listing words several times. We started out with words related to Christmas and other December holidays, and then towards the end we were thinking of all kinds of holidays, like President's Day, Mother's Day, and Grandparent's Day as well as birthdays!

Flag PBL Activity

Last week, you were to create a new flag to represent our school. We read a book containing pictures of different flags in the history of the USA, and we watched a Discovery Education Video on the American flag.
